Housing Programs

Since its inception in 2002, Freedom West CDC has preserved, rehabilitated, and developed over 170 housing units in Northwest Oklahoma. We work to stabilize and increase the available housing supply in communities which are experiencing growth and need. We also work to assist low income households with needed housing improvements when and where possible.

  • Freedom West CDC is a certified Community Housing Development Organization and is certified by the Oklahoma Housing Finance Agency.

  • Freedom West CDC provides housing preservation and development services through HUD and USDA programs.

  • Freedom West CDC partners with municipal and county governments to provide housing services in our various communities.

  • Freedom West CDC maintains an active portfolio of afforable rental units in Alva, Cherokee, Waynoka, Freedom and Mooreland. (Market rate units are also available in Freedom.)

  • Owner occupied housing rehabilitation services are available throughout its service region as funding is available.

  • All affordable units, as well as the owner occupied rehabilitation program, are based on income of household.
