The mission of Freedom West CDC is to revitalize the rural communities of its five county service region in Northwest Oklahoma to increase community sustainability through pro-active social and economic change efforts.

Goals

To serve as a coordinator of federal, state, and local level programming opportunities for locally determined community revitalization projects.

To develop and sponsor affordable housing opportunities in the service area by increasing the supply of new, low, and moderate income housing and rehabilitating existing, substandard housing based on individual and community needs.

To improve the tourism and economic development opportunities within the service area.

To enhance citizen participation in decisions which affect the quality of life in servce area communitites.

To provide for the coordination of efforts and services which address the identified needs of low and moderate income persons in service area communities.

To enhance and promote the cultural, historic, and arts programming opportunities in servce area communities.
